Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Artik LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operating chroncore.com ("Chroncore", "the Service"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Profile information: phone number, organization, location, education, skills, and profile photo when you choose to provide them.
- Lead form submissions: name, email, and organization when you request early access via our landing page.
- Content: projects, cards, files, comments, form responses, agreements, and other content you create within the Service.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interactions within the Service.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication and cross-subdomain access. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- Send transactional emails (account verification, notifications you've enabled, password resets).
- Respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the product.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Within your workspace: your name, email, and profile are visible to other members of the same tenant (organization).
- Service providers: we use third-party services for email delivery (Resend), file storage (AWS S3), payment processing (Stripe), and AI features (Anthropic). These providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual obligations.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases and S3-compatible object storage. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement access controls to protect your data. Session tokens are signed with secure secrets and scoped to your workspace subdomain.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Content within workspaces is retained according to the workspace administrator's settings. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., audit logs).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
7. Third-Party Integrations
Chroncore offers optional integrations with third-party services (Google Calendar, Slack, Stripe). When you enable an integration, you authorize us to exchange data with that service as described during the authorization flow. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy.
8. AI Features
Chroncore includes optional AI-powered features (meeting summaries, document analysis, template generation). When you use these features, relevant content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. AI features can be used without enabling them for any specific project.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
